This is an exceptional trophy plaque from one of the great amateur golf tournaments - the North and South Amateur Golf Championship. The North & South has been held at the Pinehurst Resort since 1901. This trophy plaque was awarded to World Golf Hall of Famer Bill Campbell, who won the North & South Championship an incredible 4 times - 1950, 1953, 1957, and 1967. 

Looking at the names on this trophy demonstrate how significant this tournament was, as past winners listed include Walter Travis, Chick Evans, and Francis Ouimet. The names and main Pinehurst plate are heavy bronze. This piece measures 12" x 26".
