In 1952, celebrated artist Thomas E. Stephens painted his now-famous swing portrait of Bobby Jones. The painting was made even more famous when President Eisenhower copied Stephens' work by painting his own version of that now-iconic work of art. The original Stephens painting is owned by the USGA, and is almost without question the most valuable piece of modern golf art.
This iconic painting of Bobby Jones has been reproduced many times over the years, but the most significant was the numbered run of original prints produced by the USGA in 1954 - less than 2 years after Stephens himself finished his painting.
This is one of those rare original USGA prints from 1954 - #370 in the limited edition. Even better, this example is autographed by Bobby Jones himself and certified by PSA.
The visible print size is 26" x 22 1/2", and is professionally framed (without glass) to an overall size of 40 1/2" x 37".
