Presented here is a surely unique handwritten note by the great Byron Nelson describing his worst golf experience. Lord Byron describes his worst golfing moment as "three putting the 17th hole at National Open in Cleveland causing me to end up in a tie and losing in a second playoff." Byron Nelson is referring to the 1946 US Open, where he lost in a playoff to Lloyd Mangrum at Canterbury Golf Club.
