Presented here is the great Henry Cotton’s player gift from the 1977 Ryder Cup, which was the 50th Anniversary of the first Ryder Cup in 1927. It would also mark the final tournament for the Great Britain & Ireland team, which would open up to all of Europe the following Ryder Cup.

This 9” 1977 Ryder Cup Silver Jubilee Plate, which bears the engraving, “Ryder Cup Golden Jubilee 1977”, and contains a coin mounted in the center, inscribed with, “Silver Jubilee 1952-1977”. Engraved on the reverse with Henry Cotton's name and Ryder Cup details.
