Scarce original signature of Tom Vardon, the celebrated golfer who is, rather unfortunately, now only known as the brother of Harry Vardon. Tom Vardon was Harry Vardon's confidant and right hand man throughout most of Harry's career. Though Harry was the supreme talent in the family, Tom was an exceptional golfer. Though he often intentionally took a backseat to Harry, perhaps Tom's most famous accomplishment came when he finished 2nd at the 1903 Open Championship. But guess he finished 1st in 1903? His brother Harry.
