This is a piece of golf-themed Royal Doulton, a Series Ware porcelain Bowl, which dates to the early 1900s (1910s-1930s). The Large 8 3/4” diameter and 4” high bowl bears the Doulton maker’s mark on the base, as well as the writing “Give Losers Leave To Speak and Winners To laugh” and “Every Dog Has His Day, And Every Man Has His Hour” on the interior of the bowl. The bowl has finely detailed imagery of an early course, golfer and caddie.  Very good condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.
