Offered here is one of the earliest "Augusta National" photographs in existence. This original October 1931 wire photograph depicts the overgrown entrance way to what would become Magnolia Lane. Augusta National did not open its doors until 1933. The wire slug on the reverse of this photo is exceptional, and talks about Bobby Jones wanting to build his "perfect golf course." 8x10". Very good condition.
