The 1901 Ogden's Guinea Gold golf card set is an incredibly rare cigarette issue that consisted of only 6 cards, including the offered card of John Ball. John Ball was one of the greatest golfers in history, and won the British Amateur 8 times, and the British Open in 1890. This card was produced during Ball's playing career. Ball's list of accomplishments on this card is also obviously from 1901 - before Ball won the British Amateur 3 more times.
