Offered here is a rare player pin from the 1930 US Open. For obvious reasons, collectors covet any original piece of memorabilia from Bobby Jones' Grand Slam victories in 1930. With the exception of some programs and spectator tickets, few other pieces of original 1930 Grand Slam memorabilia exist.
The offered contestant pin is one that we have never seen before. It was issued to a player during the qualifying rounds of the 1930 US Open at Interlachen Country Club. The 1 1/4" pin remains in very good condition.
