Offered here is the "Holy Grail" of PING collecting - the elusive PING Scottsdale Trainer. The Trainer was produced by Karsten Solheim to help convince PGA Tour pros that heel-and-toe weighting was superior to uniform weighting. [And The Putter Went...PING (2017) by Jeffery B. Ellis]. First engineered in mid-1964, the Trainer was produced in extremely low quantities.
This Scottsdale PING Trainer putter is in excellent condition. Bold stamping on top, and bold Scottsdale stamping on bottom. This putter is missing from most any classic club collection. It once sold was over $50,000.
