Lot Description  

This is an actual contestant badge from the 1961 US Amateur, which was held at Pebble Beach. The 1961 US Amateur was famously won by Jack Nicklaus for the 2nd time. In 1961, Nicklaus became the first golfer to win the NCAA individual title and the US Amateur in the same year. Nicklaus then turned professional in late 1961.
