This is a 1921 first edition of Fifty Years of Golf: My Memories by Andra Kirkaldy. Born in St Andrews, Kirkaldy worked in the town for most of his career and was runner-up in the Open Championship of 1889 at Musselburgh Links, falling short in the playoff to Willie Park Jr. Kirkaldy eventually was appointed as professional at the Royal and Ancient Golf Club and published these captivating memoirs of his years at The Home of Golf.
This original and rare book is in good condition with a tight spine and some minimal wear on the cover. Listed in the 2004 Gilchrist's Guide to Golf Collectibles at $525.
