When it comes to collecting autographs of Masters Tournament Champions, one autograph stands out for being unquestionably rarer than all of the others - Craig Wood. The 1941 Masters Champ (and 1941 US Open Champion) passed away in 1968 - decades before autograph collecting became immensely popular. When Craig Wood autographs are found, they are nearly always part of a group of signatures on a tournament program or something similar. Single-signed items are rare, and single-signed photographs truly scarce. For comparison's sake, the only Craig Wood autographed golf ball that we've ever sold brought over $22,000 at auction.

Offered here is the rare chance to own a Craig Wood autographed photo, and one that is not even personalized to the original recipient. And Exceptional piece.

8x10". 1st generation photograph with original photographer stamp on reverse.
