This was the very first 1935 Masters program we ever sold back in 2009. That buyer had it in his personal collection for the last 10 years and has decided to finally let it go. When we brought this program to you in 2009 it was the first one to come up for sale in a decade. Since then, we've sold over a dozen 1934 Masters Programs but just three 1935 Masters Programs. That's how rare the 1935 Masters Program is compared to the 1934.

The 1935 Masters is quite possibly the most famous Masters Tournament in history. Then considered simply a nice, small invitational tournament, Gene Sarazen famously put the tournament on the map with his double eagle on the 15th hole on Sunday that catapulted him to victory. Only a handful of items from the 1935 Masters Tournament are known to exist. With the exception of Sarazen's 4-wood and ball from his "shot heard 'round the world" that are currently in the possession of Augusta National Golf Club, this is the single greatest piece of memorabilia from the 1935 Masters.
