Offered here is an original Arnold Palmer bronze by celebrated artist and sculptor Robert Fletcher. This bronze sculpture captures the iconic pose of Arnold Palmer tossing his visor into the air after winning the 1960 U.S. Open. This is #16 of only 50 copies that were made, and number one resides in Mr. Palmer’s collection in Latrobe, PA. It is 22” tall, weighs 23 pounds and attached to a black granite base. It was produced with the highest quality of bronze and cast through the superior lost wax process.

The lost wax process of bronze casting is done today in much the same manner as it has been for thousands of years. From the original sculpture in clay, to the finished bronze, up to a dozen different stages are involved. The process eventually culminates with the pouring of molten bronze into the final mold. Once cooled, the mold is destroyed and the metal is refined. From concept to completion can easily take months.  Although time consuming and expensive, the lost wax method assures the owner a quality and long lasting finished product. We sold the piece numbered 15 in April 2018 for $5,144.

U.S. Shipping can be as much as $125 depending on location. It is shipping from Colorado.  International shipping higher.
