The Kocsis family are golfing royalty, especially in the Midwest. Quite remarkably, three Kocsis brothers all played elite level golf, including in Major Championships. All three are also in the Michigan Golf Hall of Fame.
Offered here is then-11 year old Emerick Kocsis' 1921 gold medal for being the "Best Caddie" at Redford Country Club. This 1 1/4" medal is marked Weyhing-Detroit, but does not have a gold mark so we are pretty sure it is not solid gold and weighs 12.7 grams Ribbon separated in several places.
