Tulloch was an eyewitness to the enormous changes in golf that took place in St Andrews from 1850 to 1900, much of which revolved around the first true golfing celebrity, Tom Morris. This book is a contemporary account of Old Tom, as he was still living at the time Tulloch's book was published. This is absolutely a cornerstone book for any golf library.
