This is a truly significant 1924 aerial photograph of "Pine Valley Golf Course." All 18 holes of Pine Valley (now called Pine Valley Golf Club) had just been completed in 1922 - after George Crump died in 1918 leaving 4 holes incomplete. Aerial photography was no easy accomplishment in 1924, as both airplanes (invented in 1903) and camera technology were in their infancy. This photograph was taken by Victor Dallin Aerial Survey Company. A photo accompanying this piece shows Victor Dallin with his plane and his crew in a 1929 photograph.
