Offered here is an exquisite panoramic mid century oil painting of London Scottish Golf Club by David Ghilchik (1892-1972). The painting includes the iconic windmill in the background of the golf course, which is among the oldest in England. London Scottish Golf Club claims to be the longest continuously played golf course in England, and is the 3rd oldest club to be formally established.

This beautiful painting comes with a Gallery letter with a biography of David Ghilchik in 1963 which was almost certainly provided at the time this painting was purchased from the Wimbledon gallery. 12" x 24", framed to an overall size of 15" x 27".
