Wonderful vintage cast iron tee box sign. This sign clearly dates from the period where golfers were still split between using sand tees and wood tees. This likely dates this sign to the early 1920s or so - when sand tees still dominated but wood "peg tees" were also used. Starting in 1922, with the advent of the Reddy Tee, wood golf tees started to take over. Measures 14" x 8 3/4" with a 12" angled spike.
