Offered here is a scarce oversize 1897 Old Tom Morris photogravure by H. Jermyn Brooks. It is perhaps the largest autographed Tom Morris piece in existence. There are only a handful of known examples of this exquisite full-body depiction of Old Tom Morris; even fewer are autographed by both Brooks and Old Tom Morris (in fact, we believe that only one other has sold at auction in the past 25 years). The bottom of this piece contains an exceptional Brooks signature. The signature of Old Tom Morris is one of the largest we've ever seen, though is faded but still legible. This entire piece measures 30 1/2" x 20 3/4", and the visible image is 23" x 13 1/2".
