Lot Description  

Offered in this lot are two museum-worthy pieces from Arthur Haver's victory at the 1923 Open Championship at Troon Golf Club (now Royal Troon).

This is Arthur Havers' actual contestant badge from the 1923 Open Championship, which he has autographed twice. Also included is Havers' actual original telegram from Troon notifying his home club (Coombe Hill in Surrey, England) of his victory.
