Lot Description  

This is a scarce original contestant's badge and player pin from the 1989 Walker Cup, which was held at Peachtree Golf Club. Only 20 of these contestant badges were issued - one to each of the 10 members of the American and Great Britain & Ireland teams. These badges belonged to 1985 British Amateur Champion, and 1989 Walker Cup participant, Garth McGimpsey.
