Offered here is a circa 1911 PGE Daniel Patent adjustable balance putter. The toe of the hollow head can be unscrewed to remove four lead weights as desired by golfer. According to Jeff Ellis, less than ten Daniel putters are known to exist.

This club originates from the famed Jeff Ellis Collection, and this exact club was featured in his books The Clubmaker's Art (TCA 1, p. 392; TCA 2, p. 479). This club has not reached the collector market since its sale at the 2007 Sotheby's auction of the Jeff Ellis Collection.
