At the 2000 US Open at Pebble Beach, Tiger Woods recorded what may go down as the most dominant single performance in golf history. The US Open prides itself on being the toughest test in golf. The 2000 US Open proved to be no different with 155 of 156 players finishing above par. That lone golfers who finished under par was, of course, Tiger Woods at an unbelievable 12 under par en route to a 15 stroke victory.  

Offered here is Tiger Woods' actual golf glove from the 2000 US Open. Immediately following the round, Tiger Woods autographed this glove for his caddie Steve Williams, and added that historic day's date - 6/18/00. 

Before this auction, we sent the glove to the two foremost autograph authenticators in the world, JSA and PSA, and each of their letters of authenticity accompany this special piece. JSA also made a special observation, and specifically noted on its authentication letter that "The inscription 6/18/00 was penned in the hand of Tiger Woods." We've never before seen Tiger add a date inscription, but moments after his historic triumph, even Tiger apparently wanted this glove to be appropriately documented for historical purposes.
