Offered here is a circa 1890s-very early 1900s putter from the great Old Tom Morris. Tom Morris was a ballmaker who also made some longnose woods. He was not a blacksmith, but his name meant everything in St Andrews, the Home of Golf. Therefore, the businessman in Morris did sell some irons - forged by other qualified blacksmiths in town, and then assembled in Old Tom's shop. This is one such club, which still proudly display the stamp of Tom Morris. Excellent club, with a long hosel and the original shaft.
