After World War II canceled the Masters Tournament for three consecutive years from 1943-1945, the tournament returned to Augusta National in 1946. That opening Thursday round was the site of this iconic photograph of Bobby ones, Ben Hogan, Byron Nelson, and Jimmy Demaret enjoying each other's company on a bench at Augusta National. Quite amazingly, offered with this famous image is an actual pairings sheet from that day, Thursday April 4, 1946, that is autographed by the great Bobby Jones. Bobby Jones even dated his signature 4/4/46, and even the score that Jones shot that day - a 75. Also take a look at the scorecard of each hole underneath Bobby Jones' autograph. The score for each of Bobby Jones' holes that day was recorded here, indicating that the original owner of this piece followed Bobby Jones during this epic round to start the 1946 Masters Tournament.
A remarkable piece that has been professionally framed to 18" x 27".
