Perhaps no single person in history is more associated with shoes than Michael Jordan. Jordan made $93 million dollars as a basketball player, but currently has an estimated net worth of $2.1 billion - because of his Air Jordan brand and its iconic shoes. Game-used Air Jordans routinely sell for tens of thousands of dollars, with some pairs recently selling for over $1 million at auction.
Well, Michael Jordan did not use these shoes on the basketball court, but we do believe them to be the finest shoes that Michael Jordan wore on the golf course to ever be offered for sale. First of all, the shoes themselves are the Cadillac of golf shoes - circa 1980s-early 90s Footjoy Classics in patent leather wingtip/shield tip style. These size 13D shoes were personally owned and worn by Michael Jordan during his years with the Chicago Bulls. The shoes show some wear, but they remain in excellent condition.
These shoes were then autographed on the left shoe, authenticated by Jordan's exclusive autograph provider Upper Deck Authenticated, and provided by Jordan himself to Hunt Auctions in 2010 with a large assortment of Michael Jordan's personal possessions. Upper Deck's COA lists these shoes as 1 of 1, and states that they come from Michael Jordan's personal collection.
