Rare original Program and Menu for the Farewell Banquet held in New York for the 1929 American Ryder Cup Team. This banquet was held at the New York Athletic Club by the PGA of America before the Walter Hagen-led American Team set sail for Europe to play in the first Ryder Cup to be held overseas. The 1929 Ryder Cup was the 2nd-ever Ryder Cup Matches, and the Americans dominated by the score of 9 1/2 to 2 1/2.
