Presented here is a rare full-week Series ticket from the 1948 Masters Tournament, which was won by Claude Harmon. It contains a very low number - #673.  All Masters tickets from before the tournament went to the more durable badges in 1961 are hard to find. But Series tickets, which were more like today's "badges" have always sold for a premium. This ticket is in Good overall condition with the original string attached and some clear reinforcement tape at the top.

How rare is a 1948 Series ticket? We've only sold 1 publicly before, and 1 privately, and one of those tickets is the sole example on the PSA population report. One of the finest examples that we've seen. Not sure when another one will come up for auction again. Last time this ticket sold publicly, it sold for $12,122.
