At 10:35a on March 22, 1934, Bobby Jones marked his official return to golf when he struck his opening tee shot on the 1st hole at Augusta National (now the 10th hole) for the inaugural Masters Tournament. 

Offered here is a scarce high grade photograph of Bobby Jones teeing off on the 1st hole during the opening round of the inaugural Masters Tournament in 1934. Simply put, this is one of the finest and most historic golf photographs in history. Bobby Jones was back! This photograph captures Jones striking his first golf ball in official competition since he won the Grand Slam. And it happened at his own tournament (The Masters) at his own golf course (Augusta National Golf Club).
