Offered here is a original Type 1 photograph of Alister MacKenzie playing his masterpiece Cyrpress Point in October 1928 - before the course official opened in 1929. This great Alister MacKenzie photograph is being consigned directly by famed author, historian and Alister MacKenzie expert Neil Crafter.

This original photo depicts legendary course designer Alister MacKenzie on the #17 tee box at Cypress Point. This photograph was taken by famed Monterey photographer Julian (JP) Graham, who captured many of the now-famous early moments at Cypress and Pebble Beach. 

This original 8"x10" PSA Type 1 original photograph of Alister MacKenzie at Cypress Point in 1928 by JP Graham is in excellent condition. It comes from the personal collection of Alister MacKenzie historian Neil Crafter.
