Offered here is the rare mid-1990s Japan release of the Scotty Cameron Classic 1. According to the book The Art of Putters: The Scotty Cameron Story by Bill "Vog" Vogeney, this is a "version of the Classic 1 rarely seen in the U.S. market." In fact, for most collectors, the only time they have ever seen this rare putter is on the cover of that book! Only 300 of this "The Art of Putting" model was produced and sold internationally. This Classic 1 has a Black Pearl finish, and is one of the only production model putters to feature Scotty's famous crown logo on the face.
Condition: excellent, 9.5/10 with plastic still on the grip. Complete with the original G. Loomis shaft, and the green Scotty Cameron velvet "Scotty Cameron Milled Putters" headcover. 35".
