Circa 1910s Harry Vardon signature Gibsons of Kinghorn putter. This Harry Vardon signature model putter has a unique shaft that is rounded on top and bottom but flat on the sides. In addition to Vardon's name on this putter is also the name Arthur Brown. During Vardon's quest to find the perfect putter, he met Artur Brown. Vardon then used Brown's putters to win two of his sic Open Championships. Interestingly, this putter has a number of intentional "nicks" in a line starting at the head and going all the way to the grip - a sign that the original owner was tallying some accomplishment on this club.
