This is a circa 1885 long nose play club made by Andrew Forgan. Andrew Forgan was the younger brother of Robert Forgan - the famous St Andrews clubmaker. This club was made during Andrew Forgan's time making clubs in Glasgow circa 1890. Medium brown stain and finish and a horn insert on the leading edge of the sole that is secured by three dowels. This club contains the original shaft stamped by famed clubmaking family McEwan. Replacement russet grip. Stamped by this club's 19th century owner "D. Fullarton" on the sole and the shaft. 45"
