Lot Description  

Offered here are two circa 1890s irons stamped in Brooklyn, NY. One was tooled in Brooklyn NY circa 1890s by J.H. Williams & Co who was the leading promoter of America drop forged golf clubs in the 1890s. The other is from George Strath who was Royal Troon's 1st golf professional in 1881. He emigrated to the US in the 1890s and become the head professional at Dyker's Meadow in Brooklyn New York.
