Offered here is an unusual Classic I "Augusta Winner" with welded 1.5 neck and CAMERON stamped in the cavity. We had to ask Vog for the scoop on this; we sensed there was a story.

From Vog: Scotty's original Classic brochure from his company Cameron Golf International showed the Classic 1.5 made from an Augusta Winner Classic I head as this one is. Scotty had to make up a Classic 1.5 for the brochure in a pinch but as he told the story years ago, he didn't have a stock Classic I head, and the 1.5 had not been put into production. So he took an Augusta Winner head, hacked off the neck, took a neck from the Classic II, and made this up. As a result, people like me in 1993/1994 would call and ask for an Augusta Winner 1.5. Famously, the original one for the brochure has been authenticated by Scotty as the "only" Augusta Winner 1.5. Except I have one. And this one is just the third I have seen in 31 years. So it's kinda rare :-) Likely stamped CAMERON in the cavity for TV exposure so my guess is that it was made for the tour. length is 34", 8.5/10 , with Ping grip
