This is a terrific example of an early 1890s bulger driver. The face exhibits a striking convex curve from heel to toe, contrasting with the concave faces found on many long nose clubs. The head and shaft bear the stamp "Army & Navy C.S.L.". This particular transitional head features a distinct pointed toe. The club retains its original sheepskin grip on its 44 1/2" original shaft. The club is in outstanding original condition.
