Here is an item that we literally had to see to believe.

Offered here is an actual hand-drawn map that celebrated golf course architect Gil Hanse drew while he was attending Cornell University as an undergrad circa 1985. The owner of this piece recently reached out to Gil Hanse, who confirmed that he created 2 of these maps by hand while at Cornell. Though it is difficult to comprehend without seeing this in person, this map of National Golf Links is entirely "live ink" - hand drawn by Gil Hanse himself.

Marked "G. Hanse, Cornell University" on bottom right. 

Gil Hanse drew this map from the fold out map in the back of the famous 1927 book Scotland's Gift by C.B. Macdonald.  

25 3/8" x 10 3/4"  framed and covered in glass. Some cracking to the map in the upper center. Otherwise very good condition.
