Offered here is a photograph of Walter Hagen basking in the glory of his latest golfing accomplishment, a successful defense of the Claret Jug. Hagen was aboard the transatlantic ocean liner, the S.S. Leviathan, on his way home from the 1929 Open Championship played at Muirfield.
