Offered here is a rare pre-Titleist Scotty Cameron Tour prototype putter with the coveted S. Cameron stamping. Black oxide finish.

Vog Says: When David Levine and I were working on our book on Scotty in 1999 and early 2000, we had a few questions. While I had been collecting since "the beginning" in 1992, and had figured out a lot of Scotty's early history, there were still a few mysteries. One of them was the "S. Cameron" marking. During a review of the manuscript at Scotty's old studio in March of 2000, I asked him about S. Cameron as opposed to Scotty and Scott Cameron putters. An "S. Cameron" he told us was most often a head formed on a CNC milling machine, but had a lot of hand work to produce the finished product. I'm not sure that this one has had a lot of handwork so it's probably one of those exceptions to the rule. Based on the style of this head and the initials, I'd make an educated guess and say this was made for former tour player Ronnie Black;  4 or 5 of his former putters have previously reached the market and I happen to own one!

Condition: Refinished, unused since, near mint 9.5 of 10. Includes an exceedingly rare, 1 of 50 red Scotty Cameron Milled Putters nylon cover that was made specifically for the tour in circa 1993/1994. 34.5"
