Vog says: This putter was made for the Japanese market only and was made with two different neck configurations. Approximately 1,800 examples were made with what's called the "long (hosel) cup" the original version used by Tiger to earn his first two victories on the PGA Tour. Yet there was concern that the neck was too long to comply with the rules of golf, so Scotty changed the hosel cup, shortening it as seen on this putter, and approximately 1,200 examples were produced. This has Scotty's gorgeous Black Star finish which tends to get darker in bright sunlight.
