Offered here is an original hand drawn sketch of Walter Hagen by the late golf artist Arthur Weaver. Back in approximately the 1990s when famed golf memorabilia dealer Mort Olman was working directly with Arthur Weaver, this original sketch was drawn by Weaver of Walter Hagen. Mort Olman then framed the original artwork with an exceptional circa 1928 autograph of Walter Hagen.

Significantly, Walter Hagen has added the notation "Open Champion" and dated his signature May 11, 1928 - the date of the final round of the 1928 Open Championship. The 1928 Open was Hagen's 3rd of an eventual 4 Open Championship victories, and his 10th of an eventual 11 total Major wins. 

Beautifully framed to 20 5/8" x 20 5/8", with the inside of the sketch measuring 6 1/4" x 13 1/8".
