Offered here is what might be considered the Scotty Cameron putter equivalent of a unicorn, a "Scott" Cameron hand made Napa putter.

Vog says: I've been collecting Scotty Cameron putters for almost 33 years. I can remember EVERY Scott Cameron handmade Napa/8802 style putter I've seen during that time. Including one I saw in the registry I have not had in-hand, I count 10 in 33 years. (one of them being a putter in process Scotty was making by hand for Phil in 2000 that was stamped Scotty but was crafted from a billet block of steel) I am pretty sure I saw this one surface in the mid-2000 out of Arizona but I was not successful in acquiring it. I have had this in hand (Curtis might say I was fondling it) at the warehouse and looked it over closely. Scotty has said this head style was absolutely the hardest one for him to make by hand; after all, Scotty grew up with an appreciation for classic clubs, and having seen hundreds of the old Wilson 8802 and Palmer "Designed By" putters, he knew what this putter should look like. This is a nice one. I also looked it over extensively to determine if it has been refinished. Frankly, I don't know for certain whether it has been or not. The stamped letters on the face do not have mushrooming, typically a sign a putter has been refinished, remilled, and not restamped. Like I said, I first saw this putter some time ago, and I had pictures of it and the letters and lack of mushrooming appear to be the same what I saw back in the day in those 2005-era pictures. There is no milling visible on the face, which is unusual if Scotty restored it. There is a possibility that he originally made it with a smooth face and polished out the milling after he stamped it. It also could have been a putter he refinished before the studio started offering the service in late 2004. Regardless, it's a Scott Cameron handmade Napa and a must for either a handmade or Napa collector.

Condition is as described above, 9 out of 10, with only minor nicks. 36" with vintage Wilson Head Speed shaft and grip. Original Titleist headcover in 36" length
