Offered here is the elusive early 2000s Scotty Cameron "Inspired by Mark O'Meara" Newport 2 in pro platinum finish. If you never knew that this putter existed, Vog is here to tell you why.
Vog says: Wow! Another rare putter that's been locked away in a collection for over a decade. Have not heard of the Inspired by O'Meara? There's a reason! Scotty was ready to introduce these, with likely 2000-5000 to be made, as O'Meara was using a Newport 2 on tour at the time. Scotty had the first 12 made for display at the PGA Show that year (I can't recall the exact year but I think it was 2000 or 2001) and they were at the Titleist booth for attendees to see. I saw them. Except there was one problem: Right after the show, O'Meara put his trusty Anser 2 back in his bag. So the plug was pulled on these and production never started. I see one of these pop up (likely the same putter) every 4-5 years and never with the original cover. This one HAS IT ALL.
Condition is mint 9.8 out of 10, with matching headcover. 35"
