Offered here is a Scotty Cameron Long Neck Newport "Pro Platinum Plus" authenticated as made for VIP's/Tour.

Vog says: I wish I knew with some certainty who this was made for. The putter is all original and has not been refinished as best as I can tell. The metal stamps used for the initials are not the "custom shop" stamps-meaning this was done by Scotty himself - especially given the era. That said there is no current or past player on tour with these initials who would have been active in the late 1990's. Charles Howell III might be a stretch, but I've seen some of his putters and they're stamped C.H. III. Claude Harmon III? Butch's son. I would guess his would be stamped similarly. Butch? (Claude II). I've seen his, and they're stamped B.H. It's a mystery - yet it's still a great putter in a tour-only setup.

Condition is 9 out of 10 with minor marks on sole and face as signs of past use, with studio stainless headcover and pivot, 35"
