During the 1890s, Thornton & Co, Princess St, Edinburgh was known primarily as a ball maker. However, they also sold a few clubs as this transitional play club documents. The greenheart shaft measures 45" in length and has a coated sheepskin grip. This club remains in outstanding original condition, showing only light use.
