Offered here is a coveted Arnold Palmer Wilson putter. Still one of the most in-demand collectible putters 60 years after being produced.
Made for a short period of time after being introduced initially as the "Designed By" Palmer putter, after Palmer left Wilson in 1963 and before he decided to start his own company in 1964. The Palmer or the subsequent Wilson 8802 (The Palmer's stock number in the Wilson catalogue was 8802) was used by any number of major champions, including Ben Crenshaw, Lee Trevino, Greg Norman, Larry Mize, etc. This example has the desirable "fat paddle" leather grip, on it's original head speed shaft and shaftband. In good condition 35.5"
