Offered here is a very unusual Scotty Cameron Newport Two made for Nick Faldo.

Vog says: Clearly this was made for Nick Faldo - Scotty made him A LOT of putters over the years. His favorite shapes seemed to be the Newport 2 (but strangely not the Newport), the Napa, Del Mar 2 and 3.5. This one just reeks of understated cool. It has an early oil can finish which is still intact but has worn a bit-remember Scotty did the finish to get a bit crusty looking. Has milling marks and mill chatter all over, so it's all original. Finally, look at that NECK! Have you ever seen another like it? I haven't, but it is reminiscent of some of the necks Scotty crafted on his hand made putters in the early 1990's.

Collector's bonus: This putter was made between 1997 and 2001, (likely 1997) which is one of my favorite "eras" of Scotty's career. (yes Swifties, Scotty had eras as well) It was a time where he was very experimental, whether it was on necks (like this) finishes (like the oil can) or different grinds. If you're looking for a different theme to your collection, these early tour putters might provide a lot of collecting fun.

Condition is used, some finish wear, 8.5 out of 10, 35" long with no headcover.
