Offered here is a 1998-1999 Scotty Cameron Santa Fe in its original oil can finish, initials H.T. on the toe and "Q" stamped on the heel.

Vog says: My memory has faded on this putter and a few others I saw almost 20 years ago during a "putter party" at the PGA Show in Orlando. A collector walked in with a hard shell case full of putters, and this was one of them. There were 5 or 6 like this, all oil can models, all stamped H.T. on the toe and a Q on the heel. Yet the collector didn't know much about them. What did H.T. stand for? We speculated maybe "Heavy Tour?" But what did the Q stand for? If I recall correctly someone asked Scotty about them the next day and I believe he told us they were made for now former tour player Harry Taylor (who has since started a wedge company) but he could not remember the significance of the Q. I speculated that Q stood for quality, but Scotty couldn't confirm it. We sent this in for authentication on behalf of our consignor, but the COA does not provide any additional information.

Condition is 9.5 out of 10 near mint, with art of putting headcover, 35"

Certificate of Authenticity from Scotty Cameron
